Ruby Addison

Ruby Addison is a Somerset-based fine artist specialising in oil paint. After completing a BA in Contemporary Art and an MA in Fine Art from Bath Spa University, Ruby creates her artwork in her home studio. Influenced by her studies in traditional printmaking, particularly etching and linocut, her paintings are built through thousands of deliberate marks that echo these processes. Driven by colour, her work captures the distinctive palettes of her subjects. Inspired by the natural world, she highlights often-overlooked details and draws attention to species at risk of extinction.
