Endangered Species

Following her 2020 project examining the impact of palm oil on Bornean Orangutans, Ruby is eager to delve into a new project focusing on a wider variety of species at risk of extinction. Driven by the IUCN Red List of Endangered Species, as well as visiting various zoos to aid her research, Ruby has created an ongoing project depicting a series of oil paintings showcasing the beauty of animals classified as vulnerable, endangered or critically endangered. Ruby's aim is to raise awareness and funds that can be donated to the charities dedicated to supporting each of the species portrayed in her collection.
