The Partula Snail is a small tree-dwelling snail native to the islands of the South Pacific, particularly French Polynesia. Despite its size, it plays an important role in forest ecosystems by helping to break down decaying plant material and recycle nutrients, contributing to the health of its habitat. Many Partula species have been pushed to the brink of extinction due to the introduction of invasive predators, habitat loss, and environmental change.
